Job DescriptionA reputable financial institution in Ghana is looking for qualified persons to fill the following vacancies. * Role: Branch Manager PositionResponsibilities
  • To ensure that all customers receive a consistently high-quality service by effectively managing and developing all available resources (staff, systems, processes) and ensuring that a strong customer focused service culture becomes entrenched in the branch.
  • ·To proactively identify and assess the risk faced by the branch and maintain an effective system of controls
  • To ensure the effective roll out of change management initiatives
  • To maintain a high level of integrity and ethical standards
  • Keep abreast with trends within the local market
Qualification Required & Experience
  • A minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or any relevant field.
  • A Master degree in Business Administration or any relevant field would be an added advantage.
  • Professional qualification would be an added advantage
  • A minimum of 5 years of post-qualification and work experience in a financial institution
Required Skills and Attributes
  • Ability to inspire, motivate, lead and manage team
  • Good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Good planning, quantitative and analytical skills
  • High integrity, confidentiality, firm and fair
  • Strong computer literacy skills
  • Advanced computer skills on MS Office.
  • Proven knowledge of Branch Management, Branch operations and procedures, banking laws, rules and regulations
  • High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
  • Sound independent judgement

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate the implementation of internal control and risk management systems of the bank
  • Undertake internal audit assignments
  • Evaluate existing internal control system and make recommendations for improvement
  • Carry out an investigate process in response to irregularities or procedural violations
  • Any other assignment relevant to the role
Qualification Required & Experience
  • A minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • A professional qualification would be an added advantage
  • A minimum of 3 years of post-qualification and work experience in a financial institution
