Job DescriptionBASED AT: Tarkwa but will be required to travel oftenJOB PURPOSE: To increase revenue by sales and marketing efforts in the West African sub-region. To also support client base ensuring customer service is well received by all customersKEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  • Client liaison in writing, by telephone, by electronic mail and/or in person
  • Market the company's Services to prospective and existing clients
  • Carryout market surveys throughout West Africa and recommend strategies
  • Preparation of quotes and tenders for approval of the General Manager with the assistance of other staff as required
  • Maintain quote records / archives
  • Provide technical advice to clients
  • Liaise between clients and production team regarding new work, new clients, priorities and logistics
  • Co-ordinate and host client visits and client functions
  • Network at industry functions and conferences
  • Reading industry periodicals and journals to maintain industry awareness
  • Custodian of all promotional items and documents, including flash drives, info packs and posters
  • Manage the co-ordination of advertising and sponsorships in West Africa
  • Provision of Sales and Marketing reports to the General Manager
  • Gathering and collating of industry and competitor information
  • Address customer concerns and complaints and provide a formal response to those concerns or complaints if required. Manage the use of the NPS system
  • Any other tasks as required by management.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: QUALIFICATIONS SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • A minimum of a Technical/Science Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least 8years work experience in direct/indirect mining or allied services
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Confident, Enthusiastic and innovatively minded with a proven track record in delivering excellent client service
  • Good understanding of the Africa market and the various influencing business structures
  • A willingness to relocate regionally for the length of any assignment.
