REPORTING TO: Director, Physical Development and Municipal Services Directorate (PDMSD)JOB ROLE
- The Project Manager will oversee, coordinate, and implement capital development projects on-campus and off-campus of the University of Ghana, ensuring compliance with planning regulations, sustainability practices, and institutional objectives.

- A Bachelor's degree in the built environment or a related field.
- A Master's degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
- Professional certification in Project Management (PMI-PMP, PRINCE2, IPMP-GH, IET-GH, GHIE OR SIX SIGMA).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in project management and construction supervision.
- At least 5 years of experience in a project team within a university or similar institution.
- Demonstrated experience in managing budgets, multi-disciplinary teams, and stakeholder environments.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera P6).
- Knowledge of AutoCAD or Revit applications is an advantage.
- Knowledge of contract administration and procurement procedures.
- Strong negotiation, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- High level of integrity, accountability, and professionalism.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Applicants must have served a minimum of two years in a Senior Staff role at the University of Ghana, and must be able to serve a minimum of 4 years in the role before reaching the mandatory retirement age of 60 years.
