Agricultural Technical Specialist at Global Affairs Canada

• The consultant will assist with the development of frameworks and guidelines to help promote and enhance the long-term sustainability of agriculture practices introduced under the MAG Program such as the support to women agro-processing groups and the new extension initiatives

• Experience working in agricultural interventions related to international development

• A Bachelor's Degree from a recognized post-secondary institution
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience in Ghana
• Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing agricultural development programmes, particularly those focused on improving productivity and market linkages for farmers
• Demonstrated experience in providing technical support and advisory services to women-led agricultural enterprises, especially in agro-processing
• Demonstrated experience in monitoring and evaluating the implementation of agricultural programmes, with the ability to recommendations for improvement
• Excellent English writing skills
