
Transactions Diligence Senior Manager by Ernst & Young

- Plans, executes and manages engagements
- Manages client's relationships including key client personnel such as CFO's, CEO's, etc
- Prepares and reviews reports from SaT Client engagements.
- Provides on the job training for less experienced staff, monitoring the performance and preparing meaningful, timely and objective performance evaluations.
- Leads engagements such as project managing, building client relationships and finalizing engagement reports.
- Performs detail and general review prior to partner review and signoff.
- Prepares and monitors budget and profitability analyses for client engagements
- Establishes and maintains client relations while serving as the primary client contact for all engagement
- Supports the firms HR processes including recruitment processes, induction and on-the-job trainings.
- Supports the firms Business Development activities including development of proposal documents and other go-to market activities.
- Presents engagement deliverables at client meetings
- Business development and client relationship management
- Perform sophisticated financial analyses, including quality of earnings, working capital assessments, and cash flow analysis, tailored to the specific technicalities of sectors such as financial services, energy, and others.
- Provide technical expertise in structuring complex deals, including advising on financing mechanisms, tax implications, and accounting treatments specific to each industry.
- Oversee the due diligence process, ensuring that all technical aspects such as financial, tax, operational, and IT due diligence are conducted thoroughly and in accordance with industry standards.
- Ensure that all transaction activities comply with relevant regulatory requirements, including those specific to industries like telecommunications and oil and gas, where regulations may be particularly stringent.
- Supervise the setup and management of virtual data rooms, ensuring that sensitive information is handled securely and that data integrity is maintained throughout the transaction process.
- Provide technical guidance on post-merger integration plans, ensuring that systems, processes, and policies are aligned and that the transition is seamless across different sectors.
- Prepare and present detailed technical reports to stakeholders, highlighting key findings from the due diligence process and providing recommendations based on in-depth sector knowledge.

- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Bachelor of Commerce or related field.
- Professional qualification: CA, ACCA or CIMA. CFA Charter holder or Certified Merger & Acquisition Advisor (CM&AA).
- Masters degree.
- Minimum of 10 years relevant working experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (French will be a plus);
