- Develop and implement sales strategies to acquire new individual, group and corporate health insurance clients.
- Build and maintain relationships with brokers, corporate clients, healthcare providers and strategic partners.
- Lead the sales team by setting performance goals, providing coaching and driving accountability.
- Identify new market opportunities and emerging customer segments.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and underwriting guidelines during the sales process.
- Analyze sales data, market trends and customer feedback to refine strategy and improve conversion rates.
- Achieve sales revenue targets and expand market share in the health insurance sector.
- Design and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns to promote health insurance products to individuals, SMEs and large enterprises.
- Position the brand effectively in a competitive market by highlighting value propositions such as coverage options, affordability, customer service and digital capabilities.
- Work closely with product, actuarial and underwriting teams to align product offerings with market demands.
- Develop content for advertising, digital marketing, brochures and sales presentations in line with industry regulations.
- Monitor competitor activities and adjust positioning strategies accordingly.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Insurance or a related field (MBA or equivalent preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in sales and marketing, with at least 3 years specifically in the health insurance or insurance industry.
- In-depth knowledge of health insurance products, regulatory frameworks, and market dynamics.
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and leading successful marketing initiatives.
- Strong understanding of B2B and B2C sales channels in the health insurance sector.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and digital marketing tools.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Experience working with TPAs, brokers, or insurance aggregators.
- Knowledge of public and private health insurance schemes and policies.
- Experience with digital transformation or customer journey optimization in the insurance sector.
- Understanding of local insurance compliance laws and underwriting guidelines.
