- Develop and implement QA/QC procedures and processes to ensure compliance with industry standards, client specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits on construction sites to identify and address quality issues promptly.
- Collaborate with site managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to establish quality requirements for each project phase.
- Review and approve quality control documentation, including inspection reports, test plans, and quality assurance procedures.
- Monitor the implementation of quality control plans and ensure that corrective actions are taken when necessary.
- Conduct training sessions to educate project teams on quality control processes and procedures.
- Coordinate with third-party inspectors and testing laboratories to verify compliance with project specifications.
- Investigate and analyze the root causes of quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of quality control activities, non-conformances, and corrective actions.
- Participate in project meetings and provide regular reports on quality control performance to project stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as a QA/QC Engineer in the construction industry.
- In-depth knowledge of construction materials, methods, and processes.
- Familiarity with relevant localand national quality standards and codes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Certification in quality management (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Engineer) is a plus.
- Familiarity with construction software and tools.
- Possessing an eye for quality.
- Time management skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Adaptability to a dynamic and changing business environment.
- Team player with the ability to collaborate across departments.
