The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales, managing daily operations, and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.Key Responsibilities:Sales and Revenue Growth:
- Achieve sales targets and increase revenue through effective sales strategies and team management.
- Analyze sales data, identify trends, and implement strategies to optimize sales performance.
- Train, and manage a high performing team
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork and collaboration.
- Coach and develop team members to enhance their sales and customer service skills.
- Ensure exceptional customer service standards are maintained throughout the store.
- Respond to customer complaints and feedback, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Manage daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, stock management, and visual merchandising.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment.
- Manage inventory levels, track stock movements, and optimize stock levels to minimize waste and maximize sales.
- Collaborate with the buying team to select and purchase products that meet customer needs and drive sales.
- Create visually appealing store displays and window displays to attract customers and drive sales.
- Ensure store displays and promotional materials are aligned with the brand’s image and marketing strategies.
- Prepare and submit sales reports, inventory reports, and other relevant documentation.
- Manage store budgets, track expenses, and optimize resources to achieve business objectives.
- 2-5 years of retail management experience, preferably in a gift or home goods shop or similar environment.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong sales and customer service skills.
- Ability to analyze sales data and make informed decisions.
- Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
- Knowledge of gift and home goods products, trends, and merchandising techniques.
- Higher National Diploma or equivalent required; degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Passionate about Sales, Gift Curation and allied services.
- Strong ability to cross and upsell.
- Strong visual merchandising and display skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
