
Global Applications Manager: Remote - Orbis International

- Evaluate existing software applications across the organization to determine suitability for scale-up and standardization.
- Define and document baseline functional requirements that align with global program needs across regions, disease focus, and use cases.
- Lead the planning and execution of application development projects, including customization, integration, and testing.
- Develop and manage implementation plans for application rollout and deployment.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
- Provide ongoing support and continuous improvement for deployed applications.
- Facilitate training and knowledge transfer to regional teams and end users.
- Maintain clear documentation of requirements, workflows, and system configurations.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software development, DevOps, or technology project management.
- Ideal candidates will have foundational knowledge of data protection and cybersecurity best practices.
- Proven experience managing technology projects using Agile methodologies.
- Experience working in international or multicultural environments preferred.
- Familiarity with business process analysis, data modeling, and workflow optimisation.
- Strong project and product management skills, including backlog management and sprint planning.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or Asana.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and DevOps practices.
- Certifications in cybersecurity (for example, CISSP, CISM, etc.) preferred but not required.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across cultures and time zones.
