- Design strategy and set goals for growth
- Maintain budgets and optimize expenses
- Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally
- Oversee recruitment and training of new employees
- Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance
- Direct the employee assessment process
- Provide solutions to issues (e.g. profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors)
- Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth of operations unit, monitor progress, and intervene as needed to ensure operations deliver results.
- Role shall also provide product and service support to all technology platforms and be responsible for technology product efficiency prior to deployment
- Role would ensure that all best practice is in place for effective running of business
- Oversee daily activities of the Business operations functions
- Ensure effective compliance and controls for operation of the business
- Work with other executives and of other functional heads to implement corporate strategies
- Submit relevant reports to the Group CEO
- Report progress on strategic initiatives and highlight challenges or opportunities to key stakeholders to monitor progress and to get support on the key issues as needed
- Understand technology and apply to leverage for business success
- Review and ensure comprehensive documentation, effective implementation of SOPs and give strategic and technical guidance, to guarantee the success of all products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop effective work tools and dashboards, while utilizing analytics to plan product strategy, pricing, marketing communications, project deployments, and launches among others.
- 8 years' work experience with 3 years or more proven experience as a General Manager or similar executive role
- Degree in Business or Technology or related program. A Master's Degree will be an advantage
