Job Vacancy For Human Resource ManagerA reputable Pharmaceutical Company is looking for a suitable, dynamic, achievement oriented-person for the position of Human Resource Manager.KEY JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Provide leadership for the full scope of all HR functions (Workforce planning, organisational change management etc.)
  • Direct HR business plan and align with business goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement HR policies to support strategic objectives.
  • Keep abreast of HR development within industry nationally and globally and proactively align company HR policies, procedures and practices.
  • Adopt a clear succession plan for all aspects of the business.
  • Adopt an enterprise resource planning system (ERP) to enhance company productivity.
  • Lead the implementation of HR projects within the HR department and across the business.
  • Partner with HR Centres of Excellence to lead activities and initiatives associated with change management.
  • Provide HR partner support to all business units and functions Provide guidance and advice on all aspects of people management to Senior Management.
  • Provide coaching and counseling to business leaders and managers to effectively meet business goals.
  • Design and implement talent acquisition initiatives to attract and retain the best talent to support the growth of the business.
  • Design and implement policy on Internships (including National Service)
  • Recruitment Administration - In liaison with Department Heads & HR Partners, co-ordinate vacancies within departments and undertake all relevant activities leading to the appointment of successful candidates
  • Design, plan and monitor on-boarding of new staff
  • In liaison with Department Heads and HR partners, conduct Training needs analysis and ensure staff are trained in line with needs identified and strategy of the business
  • Co-ordinate grievance procedures and disciplinary committee hearings
  • Co-ordinate appointments, promotions and staff exists within the business
  • In liaison with Departmental Heads, Communication Manager and HR Partners, educate staff on their rights
  • Have oversight responsibility for all staff payroll and salary management
  • Negotiate employment agreements in compliance with the laws and regulations
  • Responsible for the effective adoption and implementation of the performance management system (PMS)
  • Assist Unit Heads and of Departments in understanding the PMS and using the performance appraisal system (PAS)
  • Embed the administration of the PMS, including the use of the PAS
  • Institute a robust and safe filing system for staff records
  • As may be assigned
Qualification Required & Experience
  • Master's degree in Human Resources Management with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position/ highly matrixed organisation, working with persons of varied backgrounds and senior/ executive management.
  • Relevant professional certification in CIPD, PHRI, SPHRI, CIHRM etc.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of modern trends and developments in Human Resource Management - nationally and globally.
  • Excellent working knowledge of the Labour Laws of Ghana.
  • Abreast with current trends in Learning and Development
  • Knowledge of the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry and work environment.
  • Knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and other HR software and tools.
  • Ability to develop relevant HR policies, and procedures.
  • Strong ability to analyse, manipulate and interpret data.
  • Strong process and project management skills
