- Responsible for the strategic development of the human capital of the business in line with the strategic plan of the company
- Oversee the development and implementation of the organisation performance management program
- Provide leadership for the full scope of all functions within the Human Resource Department
- Initiate and lead the implementation of human resource projects across the business
- Play the role of a key negotiator and ensure mutually beneficial outcomes with negotiations with the Labour Union
- Master's Degree in Human Resources Management with a minimum of 8 years of experience working in a similar role, 5 of which must be in a Senior management position in a highly matrixed organisation
- Professional certification in either CIHRM, CIPD, SPHRi.
- Appreciable knowledge of human resource management in the pharmaceutical or allied industries
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of modern trends and development in human resource management - nationally and globally
- In-depth working knowledge of the labour laws of Ghana
- Excellent negotiation, interpersonal and influencing skills
- Good project management skills
- Proficient in the use of human resource management systems and software
- Ability to develop and implement relevant human resource policies and procedures
