Job Vacancy For Production ManagerPosition Title: Production ManagerReports to: General Manager/Operations ManagerPosition SummaryWe are a fast-growing manufacturing industry. We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to organize and oversee the manufacturing of the company's products. You will be ultimately responsible for the smooth running of all production lines and the quality of output.We expect you to have deep know-how in production procedures. Your ability to direct production staff towards maximum performance will set you apart as a leader. Decision-making and problem-solving will take up a greater part of your day.The goal is to ensure an efficient and productive manufacturing process that meets customer requirements.Key Responsibilities

Develop workflow policies and procedures that improve efficiency without compromising safety
Liaise with other managers to formulate these policies to ensure understanding and cooperation
Collaborate with other departments and team members to set goals for the production team
Estimate costs and prepare budgets
Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines
Monitor production to resolve issues
Supervise and evaluate performance of production staff
Determine the required resources (workforce, raw materials etc.)
Schedule routine maintenance to keep the equipment running effectively to maintain quality standards
Approve maintenance work, purchasing of equipment etc.
Ensure output meets quality standards
Enforce health and safety precautions
Report to upper management

Qualification Required & ExperienceKey Requirements and skills

A bachelor's degree or higher in industrial engineering, business administration or relevant field is desired
Certification and/or other qualification(s) in the relevant field will be an added advantage
Minimum 3 years of demonstrable or proven experience as a production manager/supervisor specifically in soap or personal care products
Deep knowledge of production management
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong working knowledge of quality standards and health & safety regulations
Proven record in training employees about safety and production
Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts
Experience in reporting on key production metrics
Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Ability to coach and motivate employees
Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
Attention to detail
Proficient in MS Office and ERP software
