Our client, a dynamic Christian ministry dedicated to spreading faith, hope, and transformation through digital platforms, is seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Manager. The ideal candidate should possess strong writing skills and a passion for engaging online communities while expanding the ministry’s digital reach.Key ResponsibilitiesSocial Media & Content Management
  • Monitor trends and create engaging content (posts, stories, videos) aligned with our mission.
  • Manage and maintain a consistent brand voice across platforms.
  • Develop a content calendar for timely and impactful posts.
  • Share live stream links during services across key platforms (Facebook, Telegram, WhatsApp, etc.).
Community Engagement & Growth
  • Foster online engagement by responding to comments, messages, and reviews.
  • Participate in live streams, encouraging discussions and interactions.
  • Build a strong sense of community and connection among followers.
[ad]Digital Squad & Content Distribution
  • Identify and onboard youth interested in digital engagement.
  • Provide relevant content to squad members for distribution.
  • Ensure squad members amplify ministry content on personal accounts.
  • Coordinate squad participation in digital events.
Collaboration & Strategy
  • Work closely with the Digital Specialist to implement social media strategies.
  • Coordinate with the Senior Copywriter to ensure content quality and consistency.
  • Align content plans with ministry goals and outreach efforts.
Performance Tracking & Improvement
  • Monitor and analyze social media metrics to refine strategies.
  • Stay updated on trends, tools, and best practices for effective engagement.
  • Leverage relevant trends for content that enhances engagement and visibility.
Security & Brand Protection
  • Identify and report fake accounts impersonating ministry representatives.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Strong faith-based background with an understanding of Christian ministry values.
  • Proven experience in social media management and content creation.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
  • Experience with major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, TikTok).
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools and performance tracking.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Good knowledge of digital marketing and content strategy is a plus.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends, for live events.
