
Public Financial Management Manager - Ernst & Young

- Analyze and assess public finance policies, frameworks, and systems to identify areas for improvement.
- Provide technical assistance and policy recommendations to government agencies and stakeholders on public finance management.
- Collaborate with international organizations and other local stakeholders to promote best practices in public finance.
- Prepare reports and presentations on public finance issues, including policy recommendations and impact assessments.
- Facilitate training and capacity-building workshops for public sector entities on public finance management.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of public finance reforms and initiatives.
- Contributing to thought leadership on emerging issues in public financial management.
- Support business development activities, including proposal development and client relationship management.
- Contribute to performance feedback and people-related initiatives.
- Understand and follow workplace policies and procedures.
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.

- Create a positive learning culture – you will support in developing junior team members through effective supervision, coaching, mentoring and enhancing their capability to deliver PFM solutions.
- Act as Counsellor to two or more team members.
- Consulting experience is highly desired.
- At least 10+ years of relevant working experience in public finance management, preferably in a developing country context.
- Proven experience in policy analysis, economic research, and data analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem solving, presentation skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral English.
- Execution focused and proven ability to get things done.
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Accounting, Public Finance, Economics or Business Administration from a reputable institution.
- An advanced degree from a reputable institution will be a bonus.
