- Recruitment and Staffing: Oversee the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviewing and on-boarding. Work with department heads to identify staffing needs and ensure timely hiring
- Employee Relations: Serve as the main point of contact for employee concerns and grievances. Foster a positive promptly and effectively
- Performance Management: Implement and manage performance evaluation processes. Work with managers to set goals, provide feedback and support employee development opportunities for staff
- HR Policies and Compliance: Develop, update and enforce HR policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with all local labor laws and regulations. Maintains employee development
- Training and Development: Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance employee skills and career growth. Coordinate ongoing professional development opportunities for staff
- HR Policies and Compliance: Develop, update and enforce HR policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with all local laws and regulations. Maintain employee records and handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- Workplace Culture: Promote a positive workplace culture that reflects the values and mission of Blossom Academy. Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement, diversity, and inclusion
- Student Experience: Ensure a positive and supportive learning environment for all students. Address student concerns and foster an inclusive atmosphere that promotes growth and development
- Reporting and Evaluation: Prepare and present regular reports on site performance, including student outcomes, staff outcomes, staff performance and operational metrics. Use data to drive continuous improvement
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement long-term strategies for the growth and success of the site
- Crisis Management: Respond to and manage any emergencies or unexpected situations, ensuring the safety abd well-being of students and staff
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration or a related field. A Master’s Degree or HR certification is preferred
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role within an educational or training environment
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of HR software and systems
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- In-depth knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices
- Passion for education and workforce development
