Job Vacancy For General Manager

• The General Manager oversees the staff, budgets, and business operations, which includes implementing the overall business strategy and ensuring adherence to company policies and safety regulations.
• He/She must be a thoughtful leader, confident decision-maker, self-starter, and possesses a positive/energetic attitude.

• Oversee to the operations of the roofing business
• Design strategy and set goals for growth
• Work with a wide range of employees, customers, suppliers, and third-party service providers to achieve the overall goals of the company
• Maintain budgets and optimize expenses
• Establish, or ensure adherence to policies and processes
• Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally
• Oversee the recruitment and training of new employees
• Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance
• Direct the employee assessment process
• Prepare regular reports for upper management
• Ensure staff follows Health and Safety regulations
• Provide solutions to issues (e.g., profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors)

• A minimum of Degree in a recognized institution.
• Proven experience as a General Manager and/or similar executive role in a similar business
• 5+ years of commercial roofing experience
• Experience in planning and budgeting
• Knowledge of business processes and functions (Finance, HR, Marketing, Procurement, Production, etc.)
• Must possess a results-driven attitude and the ability to problem-solve
• Excellent time management and strong organizational skills
• Strong communication/writing skills
• Demonstrate efficient computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
