- Monitor and analyse the current system of production and provision of services to ensure efficiency and provide strategies for improvement
- Create and maintain an innovative and enthusiastic working environment at all levels of the company and provide high quality supervision, line management and support to staff
- Maintain safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following and enforcing standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations
- Drive the implementation of the company's business plans and partner support programmes, providing good and credible leadership, respecting delivery to agreed timelines, budget and quality management of resources, ensuring all stakeholders are fully engaged
- Oversee inventory, distribution of goods and facilities
- Manage operational budget and implement long term sustainability strategies that will result in the growth of the growth of the company
- Manage quality assurance programmes
- Be responsible to the Managing
- Director and work per his instruction
- A first Degree in Business, Agriculture, Economics, Development Studies or related fields and must have MSc, MPhil or MBA
- Proven experience for 10 years continuous in the cocoa industry and advancing the cause of sustainability and ethical trade for the benefit of cocoa farmers and workers
- Experience in reporting to a board at executive management level within an international organisation
- Extensive experience in cash management and cash distribution to purchasing clerks for cocoa purchases
- Ability to effectively engage with policy makers, key government officials and community leaders in the country
- Prolific writing skills
- In depth understanding of sustainability standards
- Strong business negotiation, communication and presentation skills
- Very strong IT skills required
