Job DescriptionManages a small to medium-sized team of advisors to develop, maintain, and leverage relationships with prospective and existing clients to stimulate and manage demand for financial products and services.ResponsibilitiesSales
  • Sell insurance products and services directly to customers while following standard protocols. May also involve providing back-office support to a sales team.
Work Scheduling and Allocation
  • Design own monthly schedule and, if necessary, assign work to others in order to speed up office workflow and ensure high-priority tasks get done.
Sales Incentives Management
  • Develop and implement a wide range of sales incentive programs, providing guidance to others on their implementation.
Recruitment
  • Deliver support services to recruiters through activities such as developing and updating job descriptions and job specifications and screening candidates' résumés and job applications.
[ad]Supervision/Management of Work
  • Supervise and monitor the work of a team to ensure that processes and procedures are properly implemented and that the team is achieving defined objectives and standards.
Product Training
  • Help to prepare product training for specific technical areas following precedents and established procedures; run small training programs (or pieces of larger training programs) for specific areas using prepared content and working under the supervision of senior colleagues.
Operational Compliance
  • Develop knowledge and understanding of the organization's policies and procedures and of relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct to ensure own work adheres to those standards. Obtain authorization from a supervisor or manager for any exceptions from mandatory procedure.
Performance Management
  • Prioritize own workflow and ensure work is completed to the required standards of productivity, quality, and timeliness; use performance management systems to improve personal performance.

  • Provide instruction and informal advice to less experienced colleagues within the team to develop their skills.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business
  • Sales experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
