- The successful candidate will join our team as the Manager of Sales Support and Performance in the Sales and Distribution Department.
- This individual will report to the Head of Sales Operations and Planning.
- The Sales Support and Performance Manager will provide support to all sales channels in the regions to achieve objectives related to acquisition, distribution, and Mobile Financial Services (MFS) sales.
- This role will be carried out in accordance with AT policies and procedures, focusing on the ongoing improvement of both current and future performance at AT.
- Conduct data analysis to identify performance gaps and best practices, providing actionable insights to support the regional team in driving improved results.
- Manage the timely renewal and approval of all Distributor and Electronic Vendor contracts to ensure compliance and continuity.
- Collaborate with the regional team on sales planning and the development of effective go-to-market strategies.
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure that Distributors and Vendors always maintain adequate stock.
- Ensure MSISDNs assigned to Vendors and Distributors are not recycled, maintaining data integrity and operational efficiency.
- Execute retailer engagement campaigns using the ERS-CVM tool to boost secondary and tertiary sales performance.
- Perform system and software audits to identify and mitigate fraudulent activities, ensuring operational security.
- Monitor the functionality of sales short codes and SIM registration applications, ensuring all platforms operate as expected.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Economics, or knowledge in a related field.
- Minimum of three (3)- Four (4) years of working experience with 2 years or more in sales operations, distribution management, or telecom/vendor relations.
- Proven experience in data analysis and sales performance reporting.
- Proven ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Excellent technical knowledge in distribution management and its strategic significance to airtime growth
- Can do with positive attitude with good communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in an organized manner, ensuring timelines are met.
- Excellent leadership and management qualities to coach and develop skills within the Sales team.
- Able to plan and prioritize work and time to meet changing requirements and short timescales
- Strong process, planning and people management skills
- Ability to build and sustain strong positive business relationship both internally and externally
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially in cross-functional and regional teams.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in handling contracts, audits, and inventory data.

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data analytics tools (e.g Power or similar).
- Familiarity with telecom tools and platforms such as ERS SIM registration systems, and short codes.
- Understanding telecom fraud prevention practices.
- Ability to run system audits and troubleshoot basic software performance issues.
