
Senior Sales Manager - Old Mutual Ghana

- Sell simple products and services directly to customers while following standard protocols. May also involve providing back-office support to a sales team.
- Design own monthly schedule and, if necessary, assign work to others in order to speed up office workflow and ensure high-priority tasks get done.
- Develop and implement a wide range of sales incentive programs, providing guidance to others on their implementation.
- Deliver support services to recruiters through activities such as developing and updating job descriptions and job specifications and screening candidates' résumés and job applications.
- Supervise and monitor the work of a team to ensure that processes and procedures are properly implemented and that the team is achieving defined objectives and standards.
- Help to prepare product training for specific technical areas following precedents and established procedures; run small training programs (or pieces of larger training programs) for specific areas using prepared content and working under the supervision of senior colleagues.
- Develop knowledge and understanding of the organization's policies and procedures and of relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct to ensure own work adheres to those standards.
- Obtain authorization from a supervisor or manager for any exceptions from mandatory procedure.
- Prioritize own workflow and ensure work is completed to the required standards of productivity, quality, and timeliness; use performance management systems to improve personal performance.
- Provide instruction and informal advice to less experienced colleagues within the team to develop their skills.
