Job Vacancy For Marketing OfficerAgri-Impact Consult (AIC) is seeking to recruit Marketing Officer for immediate employment.Roles and Responsibilities
  • Spearhead marketing of vegetables at various sales outlets across the country
  • Responsible for innovative packaging designs and food safety protocols
  • Conducting market research for market expansion and competitiveness
  • Responsible for brand promotion
  • Ensure effective distribution of fresh vegetables to hospitality industry and institutions
  • Initiate and sustain online and delivery services of vegetables
  • Perform any other duty assigned to you by the Executive Director and Greenhouse construction engineers
Qualification Required & Experience
  • BA/BSc/HND/Diploma from ATVET in Agriculture, Engineering, Marketing or related fields
  • Experience in Agriculture, agro-industry, agribusiness or related activities
  • Experience in using MS Windows and MS Office packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Web conferencing Application, Information management systems
Other
  • Required languages: English and one local language
  • Travel: Must be willing to travel up to 30% of time
  • Must be willing to be posted to any part of the project areas
Knowledge, skills and abilities
  • Strong critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills with ability to make sound judgment
  • Strong relationship management skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse groups
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to write reports
  • Proactive, results-oriented and service-oriented
