- The objective of this paper is to document the criteria for selection of a Team Leader, the job description and the remuneration that goes with the role.
- The Team Leader guides and manages a team of business executives (Sales Agents) to prospect and sell life insurance policies to prospective clients.
- The Team Leader will report to a Sales Manager.
- Achieve and exceed growth and sales targets by successfully managing the business
- Recruit, train and monitor the performance of business executives.
- Prospect for clients and run presentations on company's products and services.
- Implement sales objectives, initiatives, strategies, and programs.
- Provide field support for business executives as they generate leads and close new
- Assist with customer service duties.
- Resolve concerns and complaints of business executives
- Good quantitative and analytical skills.

- Ability to run effective presentations.
- Must have been a Business Executive or an insurance sales agent for a minimum period of one year
- External Team Leaders will earn a monthly allowance of two thousand Ghana Cedis (GHS 2,000.00) subject to a minimum production of fifteen (15) converted businesses. They will earn an additional allowance of 50% of the allowance payable to Business Executives for each policy converted. These policies must however have a minimum premium of one hundred Ghana Cedis (GHS 100.00).
