- Provide leadership and supervision to branch staff to achieve business and financial targets
- Develop and implement strategies to grow deposits, loans and other banking products
- Ensure effective credit management, loan recovery and risk mitigation
- Maintain strong relationships with customers, community leaders and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, internal controls and policies
- Promote excellent customer service delivery and uphold the bank’s image and values
- A minimum of first degree in Banking & Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related field
- A minimum of 3 years of banking experience, at least 2 of which should be at a supervisory or middle-level managerial level, preferably in a rural/community bank
- Proven track record in credit management, deposit mobilization and branch operations
- Good knowledge of T24 or similar core banking software
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, analytical and communication skills
