Job Vacancy For Veterinary Product Registration Specialist

- Dossier Compilation and submission: Prepare, compile and submit comprehensive registration dossiers for new products to regulatory authorities in close coordination with suppliers/manufacturers, ensuring all data on quality, safety and efficacy is included and accurate
- Regulatory Compliance: Interpret and apply specialized knowledge of product registration requirements to ensure all aspects of the product lifecycle including commercialization, labelling, packaging, storage comply with relevant regulations
- Liaison with Authorities: Coordinate and maintain communication with the relevant national competent authorities (e.g., the Food and Drugs Authority, Ghana Standards Authority) during the application evaluation process, providing timely responses to their questions and comments
- Documentation Management: Maintain and update all regulatory affairs records, including product information, registration files and certificates
- Monitoring regulatory changes: Continuously monitor changes in relevant legislation and guidelines, provide required regulatory guidance and ensure all current and future submissions meet the latest requirements
- Labeling and Artwork Review: Coordinate with product suppliers/manufacturers and artwork designers to ensure product packaging and package, inserts are compliant with regulatory legislation and approved information
- Logistics: Coordinate relevant logistics required for product imports, storage and distribution prior to, during and upon registration and certification by regulatory authorities
- A degree in a relevant field such as Veterinary Medicine, Pharmacy, Animal Science, Chemistry or a related life science
- Knowledge: Strong, specialized knowledge of regulatory requirements and guidelines (e.g. FDA) is essential
- Experience: 3 to 5 years experience in regulatory affairs/product registration within the pharmaceutical or animal health industry is desired
- Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail is critical for compiling accurate and complete documentation and identifying potential compliance issues
- Organisational Skills: Strong organizational and file management skills are needed to manage complex dossiers and meet deadlines
- Communication Skills: Effective written and oral Communication skills are necessary for clear correspondence with regulatory bodies and internal teams
- Analytical Skills: The ability to analyze data and interpret complex regulations to ensure product compliance
