Job Vacancy For Finance Analyst – Corporate FinanceA leading financial services group operating from Accra with operations in investment banking, securities trading and investment management, seeks to employ highly qualified professionals to fill the following position: Finance Analyst - Corporate FinanceDuties
  • Perform financial analyses and develop financial models to support valuation, planning, forecasting and budgeting, for decision-making
  • Participate in the development of client presentations, marketing materials, pitchbooks, business plans and feasibility studies
  • Conduct due diligence on companies and industries through research and data mining and by reading financial statements and market data
  • Perform investment research, market research, industry and company and transaction research and provide investment research and provide investment research summaries and reports, investment ideas and recommendations to stakeholders
  • Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of financial instruments, new investment products, financial markets conditions and trends
  • Monitor the financial news using specialist media sources and keep up-to-date with market developments and all other areas that can affect the economy, industries, markets, public and private companies
  • Perform related duties and projects as assigned by supervisor
Qualification Required & Experience
  • A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the finance industry or other relevant field
  • A minimum of a first degree in finance, accounting, economics or other relevant discipline
  • Should have successfully completed the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) securities courses and passed the examinations at all levels
Specific Skills Requirements
  • Strong business sense and a broad understanding of business models, industry dynamics and competitive analysis
  • Strong fundamental research skills and excellent analytical and data gathering skills
  • Strong understanding of all financial statements, understanding of the key drivers of shareholder return and proficiency with financial modeling and multiple valuation techniques
  • Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, word, PowerPoint and Access
  • Must be a self-starter with strong organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Must be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills
