- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the A2P SMS space.
- Build and maintain relationships with key decisionmakers at potential client companies.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices in A2P SMS.
- Develop a deep understanding of our A2P SMS platform and its capabilities.
- Identify potential partners and collaborations that can drive growth in our A2P SMS business.
- Negotiate and close partnership agreements that align with our business goals.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue growth objectives.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential clients and opportunities.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the A2P SMS space.
- Responsible for identifying and pursuing new business
- Accountable and responsible for the preparation of business plans, cases for new businesses and financial analysis
- Lead the preparation of compelling proposals, presentations, and marketing materials.
- Responsible for the management of strategic partnerships
- Build market position by locating, developing, defining and closing business relationships
- Identify trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications and announcements
- Screen potential business deals by analysing market strategies, deal requirements and financials
- Promote the company's brand to ensure it has a recognised global brand and appeal
- Develop and support the company with marketing initiatives through various forums
- Examine risk and potential for business opportunities
- Develop processes and procedures in the unit and ensure compliance with the legal requirements, industry regulations, organisational policies and professional codes.
- Any other duties that may be assigned by the Commercial Director and or Company Executives.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, with a focus on A2P SMS or messaging platforms.
- Strong understanding of A2P SMS technology, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of interconnect clearing house operations
- Ability to think strategically and develop plans to drive business growth
- Ability to plan, organise and manage a diverse workload with competing deadlines
- Ability to Identify business opportunities by researching prospects and analysing sales options
- Ability to Identify service improvements or new business by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance
- Strong interpersonal relationship with the ability to communicate and influence people at different levels within and outside the organisation
- Present reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
- Ability to develop and deliver presentations.
- Proficient in negotiating contracts with clients and partners
