Job Summary:A Key Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing accounts and customers, focusing on building long-term partnerships, maximising customer lifetime value, and generating business opportunities.Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Managing the full sales life cycle, from initial prospecting through to closing sales.
  • Prospecting new clients in Ghana and any other African Region.
  • Developing and maintaining excellent knowledge and understanding of our business, offerings, competitors, and industry.
  • Promoting company products and services while addressing or anticipating customers’ objectives.
  • Generating new leads and opportunities to meet or exceed KPIs set by management.
  • Gathering customer/project requirements and proposing necessary solutions, preparing or approving quotations/Requests for Proposals.
  • Negotiating quotations with customers, reviewing their feedback, and revising offers as necessary while adhering to Authority Matrix limits for pricing, discounts, and terms of payment.
  • Researching, identifying, and reporting on business opportunities in targeted markets.
  • Developing a robust pipeline of opportunities and revenue streams.
[ad]Customer Relations Management
  • Promoting the image of the company by demonstrating professionalism, reliability and technical knowledgeableness.
  • Expanding customers’ base by:
  • Proactively prospecting for new clients.
  • Tele sales activity to set up meetings and create new leads.
  • Conducting research to identify new accounts and customer needs.
  • Extensively following-up on existing leads generated from Exhibitions, Webinars and partners’ network.
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and Client relationships.
  • Retaining clients and building strong, trusting relationships.
  • Use various styles to persuade/ negotiate appropriately.
  • Maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the CRM system by providing updates on daily basis for accounts, leads, and activities (meetings held, calls and client interaction…etc.).
  • Coordinate with Implementation team and Customer projects technical deployment until handover
  • Assist the Implementation team with project deployment requirements on ad hoc basis.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 3-5 years’ experience in related field
  • Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software

  • Have strong communication skills and negotiation skills
  • Highly organised and accomplished at solving problems and closing deals
  • Detail-oriented and able to prioritise
  • Strong academic background from a well-known University
  • Well Connected and ability to deliver
