- Managing the full sales life cycle, from initial prospecting through to closing sales.
- Prospecting new clients in Ghana and any other African Region.
- Developing and maintaining excellent knowledge and understanding of our business, offerings, competitors, and industry.
- Promoting company products and services while addressing or anticipating customers’ objectives.
- Generating new leads and opportunities to meet or exceed KPIs set by management.
- Gathering customer/project requirements and proposing necessary solutions, preparing or approving quotations/Requests for Proposals.
- Negotiating quotations with customers, reviewing their feedback, and revising offers as necessary while adhering to Authority Matrix limits for pricing, discounts, and terms of payment.
- Researching, identifying, and reporting on business opportunities in targeted markets.
- Developing a robust pipeline of opportunities and revenue streams.
- Promoting the image of the company by demonstrating professionalism, reliability and technical knowledgeableness.
- Expanding customers’ base by:
- Proactively prospecting for new clients.
- Tele sales activity to set up meetings and create new leads.
- Conducting research to identify new accounts and customer needs.
- Extensively following-up on existing leads generated from Exhibitions, Webinars and partners’ network.
- Establish, develop and maintain positive business and Client relationships.
- Retaining clients and building strong, trusting relationships.
- Use various styles to persuade/ negotiate appropriately.
- Maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the CRM system by providing updates on daily basis for accounts, leads, and activities (meetings held, calls and client interaction…etc.).
- Coordinate with Implementation team and Customer projects technical deployment until handover
- Assist the Implementation team with project deployment requirements on ad hoc basis.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 3-5 years’ experience in related field
- Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
- Have strong communication skills and negotiation skills
- Highly organised and accomplished at solving problems and closing deals
- Detail-oriented and able to prioritise
- Strong academic background from a well-known University
- Well Connected and ability to deliver
- Able to work efficiently under pressure
- High energy personality
