Job Vacancy For Business Liaison Officer (Marketing Option)Ghana-India Kofi Annan Centre of Excellence in ICT is an agency of the Ministry of Communication. The Centre represents the best in modern ICT service delivery model. AITI-KACE's mandate includes delivery of globally-benchmarked training, core technical research leading to innovations for information communication technologies for development (ICT4D), solorlons, provides of committing services as well as managing key networks and events for the IT community in Ghana and West Africa.Overall ResponsibilitiesThe Ghana - India Kofi Annan Centre of Excellence in ICT is hiring a Marketing Officer for a high-energy,fast-paced position. The Marketing Officer would be required to assist with branding and marketing the activities of the centre. The position require significant focus on creating new business in the public and private markets, grow ongoing projects, and integrate capabilities in client management and sales acumen to create value for stakeholdersThe Incumbent will be responsible for the following assignments
  • Identify and develop new markets
  • Conducts market research aimed at formulating and implementing marketing strategies
  • Develop a strong and active social media presence.
  • Undertake marketing, advertising and promotional planning campaigns
  • Organize public relations activities tp enhance the image of the centre
  • Advise management on changing trends in the market
  • Advise with the development of marketing strategy for the centre, in line with its objectives
  • Creation and publication of marketing material in line with marketing plans
  • Maintain effective internal communications to create that all relevant departments are kept informed of marketing activities
  • Analyse potential strategic partner relationship for corporate marketing
  • Organise outreach to promote the centre
  • Work closely with design agencies and assist with new product
  • Co-ordinate marketing campaigns with sales activities
  • Overall responsibility for brand management and corporate identity
  • Prepare online and print marketing campaigns
  • Create a wide range of different marketing materials
  • Perform any other duties that may be assigned by the Director of consultancy.
Qualification Required & ExperienceEducation Qualification
  • Candidate must possess least a Bachelor's Degree frp, am accredited University in Marketing, Business Administration, Communication, Management Information system, Computer Science, Social Sciences or any relevant field of study
Position Requirements
  • At least 5 years relevant working experience in sales, marketing, business development or public relations
  • Proven ability to tactically deliver project tasks under tights deadlines, with the ability to keep the big picture in mind
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in a functional capacityu
  • Ability to interact with personnel at all levels, from technical to high level management, and to
  • Influence key stakeholders in order to get things done
  • Strong leadership interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to deal with diversity and differing opinions
