- Invoicing and Payments:Preparing and sending out invoices, tracking payments, and following up on overdue accounts.
- Financial Reporting:Assisting in the preparation of financial reports, including income statements and balance sheets.
- Record Keeping:Maintaining accurate financial records and ledgers.
- Budget Management:Assisting with budget preparation and monitoring expenses.
- Reconciliations:Reconciling bank statements and other financial accounts.
- Data Entry:Accurately entering financial data into accounting software.
- General Office Management:Managing office supplies, equipment, and facilities.
- Data Management:Maintaining and organizing files, both physical and digital.
- Inventory Management:Assisting with the tracking and management of catering supplies and equipment.
- Compliance:Ensuring compliance with relevant financial and administrative regulations.
- Managing the petty cash and reconciling expenses.
- Other duties:Performing other administrative tasks as required by the catering service.
- Higher National Diploma (HND) or B.Sc degree in Finance, Accounting, or relevant field.
- Minimum of 3-4 years of proven work experience as an Accounts Administrator, Accounting, or similar role.
- Working knowledge of tax procedures and filing.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office and accounting software programs.
- Good knowledge of bookkeeping procedures.
- Solid data entry skills and analytical abilities.
- A keen eye for detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good organizational and time management abilities.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information.
