Director of Finance and Administration at Reputable Company

- Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports in line with IFRS, and other regulatory guidelines
- Oversee financial aspects of membership dues, renewals
- Skill in managing and reporting on grants/projects funding and donor requirements.
- Support policies and advocacy work with economic data or cost benefit analyses
- Knowledge of membership - based business models and revenue structures
- Advise on investment opportunities and provide strategic directions for the company's administration
- Ensure that proper books of accounts are adequately kept on all transactions and financial activities of the organization
- Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities
- Manage the general administration of the organization
- Ensure the preparation of regular reports from the various departments and regions and consolidate them for management consumption
- Liaise with the external auditors to ensure timely preparation of financial statements and annual reports
- BSc/BA/MBA Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics and/or Professional qualification such as ACCA, CA etc
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role
- Proven experience as a Finance Manager/Director
- Experience in the financial sector with previous role in finance and administration
- Extensive understanding of financial trends to within an organization and general company and general market patterns
- Proficient user of finance software
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used
- A good understanding financial statistics and accounting principles
- Working knowledge of statutory legislation and regulations concerning finance
- Proven experience in office Administration including managing people
- Proficient in spreadsheets for modelling, dashboards and data analysis
