- Development, revision and implementation of accounting and financial policies, procedures, guidelines and standards in managing the finance function
- Provision of technical expertise on all financial matters regarding the company's undertakings (such as projects, investments, acquisitions, etc)
- Preparation, implementation, management and monitoring of the annual budget, including capital budget of the company
- Conduct financial appraisal of capital investments to facilitate project decision making
- Development and implementation of capital raising strategies and plans for resource mobilisation to support projects and capital investments
- Preparation of reports to variance analysis of revenue and expenditure against budget
- Preparation of payroll and statutory returns in compliance with applicable policies, legal and regulatory requirements
- Planning and management of the company's treasury and liquidity activities to optimise cash surplus and provision of adequate cash for investment purposes, debt management and operational support
- Recording, analysis and preparation of accurate and timely periodic financil reports and documentation for the company and projects
- Development and revision of Key Performance indicators (KPI), financial models, framework, tools and templates for the development, monitoring and implementation of the company's strategic objectives / plans and budget performance
- Administrative oversight over the HR & Administration functions of the company
- Minimum of an MBA in Finance from a recognised tertiary institution and
- Chartered Accountant ICA Ghana or equivalent from a recognised institution
- 15 years of relevant work experience in finance or accounting with at least 5 years in senior management role
- Proven track record in raising capital from DFIs, Commercial Banks, Private Equity Funds etc
- Good knowledge of Public financial management Act 2016 (Act 921), Public Financial management regulations, 2019 and subsequent amendments
- In-depth working knowledge of Tax laws of Ghana and relevant international tax agreements, conventions and regulations
- Good knowledge of Data protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) and subsequent amendments
- In-depth working knowledge of IFRS and other standardsa nd related regulations
- In-depth working knowledge of accounting and financial information systems and tools
- In-depth knowledge in financial modelling, analysis and reporting
- Extensive technical knowledge and experience in financial forecasts and analysis
- Good knowledge and experience in strategic planning and development
- Demonstrated ability in inventor relations and fundraising strategies
- Highly innovative, result-oriented and service driven
- Demonstrated skills and ability in report writing, presentation and effective communication
- Strong collaboration, networking, selling and negotiation skills
