A strong sense of ethics and care for student well-being is essential to succeed in this role.Key Responsibilities
  • Assist faculty in preparing, delivering, and coordinating lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in core HRM areas such as recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation, and labor law.
  • Guide students in applying HR theories and models to real-world organizational challenges.
  • Grade assignments, quizzes, exams, and projects in a fair and timely manner.
  • Lead or support tutorial discussions, case study sessions, and group activities.
  • Help plan and coordinate HR-focused events such as workshops, industry talks, and simulation exercises.
  • Maintain accurate academic records and assist in monitoring student performance.
  • Support the development of teaching materials, presentations, and HR-related research activities.
  • Hold office hours to provide additional academic guidance and career support to students.
  • Manage LMS (Learning Management System) tasks and provide basic technical classroom support.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or Organizational Psychology. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g SHRM, CIPD, PHR) is an advantage.
  • Strong foundational knowledge in key HRM domains such as employment law, talent management, organizational development, and HR analytics.
  • Familiarity with HR software/tools (e.g., SAP HR, BambooHR, or other HRIS systems) and data handling in Excel or similar tools.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous experience in academic tutoring, teaching assistance, or HR training is a plus.
  • Strong ethical judgment, attention to detail, and ability to manage academic responsibilities independently and collaboratively.
