- Preparing proposal and developing strategies for work operations.
- Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
- Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
- Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.
- Finding and developing new markets and improving sales.
- Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events with and for the C.E.O
- Developing service and sales proposals for clients.
- Developing goals for the development team and business growth and ensuring they are met.
- Business Development meeting with corporate heads and procurement managers to open business of sale for the mainstream marketing team.
- Market research (competitor weekly updates).
- Verifying the authenticity of all contracts (ie tenders, construction etc).
- Coordinate daily calendars of senior managers
- Plan appointments and events
- Act as the point of contact between executives and clients
- Create regular reports and update internal databases
- Make travel arrangements.
- Must have an entrepreneurial background/experience.
- Must be able to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to problems
- Must have strategic leadership abilities/ skills
- Must be an articulate communicator, with good presentation skills
- Must be familiar with government organizations.
- Must have communication skills and experience in corporate business development.
- Able to work in teams of diverse background and able to work under pressure.
- Must have eye for tender opportunities
- Degree in Business administration/ marketing/ entrepreneurship or any related program with minimum of 3 years experience in C-Suite, business development, government relations and marketing.
- Experience in the automobile industry would be an added advantage
