Branch Manager at Reputable Rural Bank

- Provide effective leadership and supervision to branch staff to ensure the achievement of operational, financial, and customer service targets.
- Drive deposit mobilization and growth of the bank's customer base.
- Oversee credit administration, including loan appraisal, disbursement, monitoring, and recovery.
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations, internal controls, AML/CFT guidelines, and all policies of the Bank of Ghana and ARB Apex Bank.
- Prepare and submit timely and accurate periodic reports on branch operations and performance.
- Promote excellent customer service and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Develop and implement strategies to grow the branch's business and enhance profitability.
- Build a high-performing team through coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
- Safeguard all bank assets and ensure operational efficiency within the branch.
- A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Banking & Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Professional qualification such as ICA, ACCA, CIB, or an MBA is an added advantage.
- At least 5 years of relevant working experience in a financial institution, with not less than 3 years in a supervisory/managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of rural banking operations, credit management, and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated experience in deposit mobilization, business growth, and people management.
- High level of integrity, excellent communication skills, and strong problem-solving ability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant banking software (T-24).
