Job Vacancy For Head of Procurement UnitApplications are invited from suitably qualified individuals to fill positions in a reputable organization with its head office in Accra and offices in all the regions of Ghana.Job Title: Head of Procurement UnitQualification Required & ExperienceThe applicant must
  • Be a citizen of Ghana
  • Have completed National Service and possess a certificate to that effect
  • Have a good Bachelor's degree in procurement, Business administration, Accounting or any relevant field
  • Have Master's degree in Procurement or any related field
  • Be a member of chartered institute of Procurement and Supply Chain Management or any related field
  • Have at least 10 years post qualification experience in a procurement related field
  • Have demonstrated experience in procurement of works, goods and services
  • Understand the Public Procurement act and donor procurement activities
  • Have ability to prioritize multiple assignments in an extremely fast-paced environment to meet deadlines, to exercise good judgement and to effectively communicate with management
  • Have good knowledge in project management and good understanding of financial transactions
  • Be result oriented and must have negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Have proven record of integrity
  • Have no criminal record
  • Be computer literate
