- Will manage financial records, budget monitoring and reporting for the RMNCH project, ensuring compliance with donor guidelines and internal financial policies. This role supports financial decision-making and ensures funds are utilized effectively to achieve project goals
- Assist in preparing and monitoring project budgets, ensuring alignment with project objectives and donor requirements
- Prepare timely and accurate financial reports, including monthly reconciliations, to inform project management and donors
- Ensure all financial activities comply with donor regulations, internal policies, and audit requirements
- Oversee day-to-day financial transactions, including payments, invoicing and payroll processing
- Assist in maintaining up-to-date assets and store registers
- Work with the programme management, M&E and finance and audit teams to manage project budgets, ensuring the efficient use of resources
- Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance or related field. Professional certification will be desirable (CA,ACCA)
- At least 3 to 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a donor-funded project or NGO setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and budget management
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
