Vice Chancellor at Dr.Hilla Limann Technical University

• Lead the university forward by identifying opportunities, as well as developing and implementing a strategic vision that ensures implementation of the university’s mission
• Assume that the university’s finances are managed and revenue streams are developed and grown to support the achievement of the strategic vision of the university
• Promote and encourage the university’s role in economic development, research and the development of global competence in students and the community
• Provide novel and creative approaches to problem-solving and decision-making

• Be of professional status in a University or an analogous institution
• Demonstrate successful leadership experience in higher education administration and experience in leading and managing a large, complex organization in a challenging financial environment.
• Possess a record of excellence in teaching, research and service activities at a university or analogous institution
• Be visionary, technology-oriented and be able to establish rapport between industry, the community and the University for the promotion of common purpose
• Have proven leadership, management and communication skills in a senior management level
• Have the capacity and network to raise funds and other resources for research and other development activities of the University
• Be sober with maturity and drive for sound and impartial judgement

• The Vice-Chancellor shall be appoint for a period of 4 years. The appointment may be renewed, upon application for a further term of up four 4 years only, if that is not beyond the statutory retirement age of 60 years.
• Applicants should be able to complete one full term prior to attaining the statutory retirement age
