- Training Development:
- Conduct needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training priorities.
- Design and develop engaging training programs across various sales methodologies, product knowledge, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Create diverse training materials, including presentations, case studies, role-playing scenarios, and online modules.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to incorporate into training programs.
- Training Delivery:
- Facilitate interactive training sessions both in-person and virtually.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles.
- Provide personalized coaching and feedback to individual trainees.
- Track and measure the effectiveness of training programs through data analysis and feedback surveys.
- Ongoing Support:
- Act as a resource for sales representatives, offering ongoing coaching and support beyond initial training.
- Partner with sales managers to identify opportunities for improving sales performance.
- Contribute to maintaining a positive and supportive training environment.
- Comprehensive training catalogue in place
- Trainings translating into productivity for each salesperson
- Reduction in miss-selling complaints
- 80% Positive feedback from trainees and line managers on training effectiveness
- Familiarity with modern and traditional training methods
- Excellent leadership and motivational skills
- Ability to plan, manage time and multitask effectively
- Advanced computer skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced record-keeping skills
- Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Good collaboration and teamwork skills
- Candidates with similar experience in previous roles are preferred.
- First Degree from an accredited university
- Previous years of experience in Training and development or related fields
- Three or more years of related work experience is an added advantage
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Excellent people management skills
- Works comfortably under pressure and meets tight deadlines
