- Develop, implement, and own the university's overarching digital marketing strategy to achieve key objectives related to brand awareness, lead generation, and student enrollment targets.
- Define and manage the digital marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation across channels and a strong, measurable return on investment (ROI).
- Conduct comprehensive market, keyword, and competitor analysis to identify opportunities, threats, and key areas for growth.
- Serve as the in-house expert on all things digital, staying ahead of trends in higher education marketing, SEO, social media, and paid advertising.
- Design, launch, and optimize multi-channel lead generation campaigns, including Pay-Per-Click (PPC) on Google Ads, paid social media advertising (Meta, LinkedIn), and search engine optimization (SEO).
- Architect and manage our email marketing strategy, creating automated nurture campaigns and targeted communications for different segments of the prospective student journey.
- Work in close partnership with the Admissions team to align marketing efforts with recruitment goals, ensuring a seamless transition from lead to applicant.
- Analyze and optimize the entire digital conversion funnel, from landing page performance to application submission rates.
- Oversee the creation and execution of a compelling content strategy that positions KCoHAS as a thought leader in health and allied sciences.
- Manage all official social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, YouTube) not just as broadcast channels, but as platforms for community building, student engagement, and brand storytelling.
- Ensure all digital content is high-quality, on-brand, and SEO-optimized, reflecting the KCoHAS brand voice of excellence, innovation, and professionalism.
- Author and edit persuasive copy for websites, ad campaigns, email newsletters, and social media.
- Establish, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including website traffic, cost per lead, conversion rates, and campaign ROI.
- Utilize tools like Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager, SEMrush, and native social media analytics to derive actionable insights and drive continuous improvement.
- Prepare and present regular, insightful performance reports to senior leadership, translating complex data into clear strategic recommendations.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in digital marketing, with at least 1 year in a strategic or leadership capacity.
- Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing successful SEO/SEM strategies and PPC campaigns (Google Ads, Meta Ads).
- Advanced proficiency with Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager, and data visualization tools.
- Hands-on experience managing professional social media channels and using scheduling/analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Buffer).
- Proven experience with email marketing automation platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot) and developing lead nurture campaigns.
- Exceptional copywriting and content creation skills, with a portfolio of work to prove it.
- Direct experience in the higher education sector, specifically in student recruitment marketing, is highly desirable.
- Proven Video Editing Skills are a BIG plus.
- Experience in marketing to audiences in Ghana and across West Africa.
- Working knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems (e.g., Slate, Salesforce) and their integration with marketing efforts.
- Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Spark) or experience providing clear direction to graphic designers.
- A Master's degree in a relevant field is a plus.
