- Manage the brands of the station, improving eyeballs and managing operations of the programming to ensure the company maintains market leadership position and increases its market share.
- Oversee implementation of Marketing strategy - including campaigns, events, digital marketing and PR
- Develop appropriate strategies for market leadership
- Development and implementation of the Brand strategy
- Research, analyse and interpret specific programme performance and develop appropriate strategies to sustain the gains of the shortcomings
- Manage brand interface with clients and propagate the image of the company's brand in a positive direction
- Develop client/Group relationship through various on-ground activities.
- Create strong brand affinity through events and ensure a high level of group visbility through effective promotional programmes and events
- Supervise the design and creativity of the graphics and brands in the unit
- Supervise the design and development of promos and of animations for design elements
- Develop the marketing strategy for new and existing products
- Work closely with company's sales team, enabling them to meet their commercial objectives by providing them appropriate tools, materials and presentations
- Ensure that the marketing objectives are implemented by the marketing team
- Work closely with product management team to define marketing materials and programmes
- Manage social media presence and direct programme to improve social media reputation recognition
- Develop and deliver marketing and communications strategies for the organisation
- Undertake continous analysis of competitive environment and consumer trends
- Manage the Marketing department to conform to the strategic direction of the company
- Work closely with the commercial team to generate revenue for all programmes and content
- Manage effective utilisation of financial resources as against approved budget
- Perform any other duties within the scope and intent of the job as may be required from time to time.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing from a recognised institution
- Must have a professional certification in Marketing
- Media and advertising experience in an advantage
- Minimum of 7 years relevant experience in a media house with at least 5 years supervisory experience
- Ability to formulate event policies
- Ability to conduct market research
- Excellent computer knowledge and the ability to use computer programmes and software
- Ability to design promotional strategies
- Ability develop creative and innovative ideas
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships both internal and external
- Good understanding of Television Branding
- Excellent planning and organising skills
- Excellent leadership and supervisory skills
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
