- Post-Harvest Equipment: Operating, maintenance, and care of threshers, transportation systems, bagging, weighing, and moisture testing equipment.
- On-Farm Equipment: Operations and maintenance of tractors, planters, tillers, weeders, pruners, earth-moving equipment, and drones.
- IoT and AI in Agriculture: Use of IoT devices (soil scanners, bird scarers, weather stations, moisture meters, aflatoxin meters) and AI integration in agriculture.
- Develop four (4) user-friendly, gender-sensitive and inclusive training manuals tailored to youth (ages 18–35), with emphasis on young women and Persons with Disability (PWDs).
- Ensure manuals align with AGRA’s project outcomes and Ghana’s agricultural mechanization policies.
- Incorporate practical exercises, case studies, and visual aids (diagrams, photos) to enhance learning.
- Submit draft manuals for review and finalize based on feedback from KITA and AGRA.
- Conduct a desk review of existing materials and project documents.
- Collaborate with KITA’s technical team to align content with project milestones
- Ensure manuals cover:
- Safety protocols in equipment utilization.
- Troubleshooting and basic repairs.
- Financial access for equipment acquisition.
- Integrate KITA and AGRA’s Branding and Safeguarding Policies.
- Expertise: Proven experience in agricultural mechanization, IoT/AI in agriculture, and manual development.
- Education: Advanced degree (PhD or Master's degree) in Agricultural Engineering, Agribusiness, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years developing training materials for youth-focused projects.
- Language: Fluency in English; knowledge of local languages (e.g., Twi) is a plus.
