Field Enumerator

• Location: Kumasi

• Conduct field surveys to collect data on farm characteristics, crop types, and farming practices.
• Use structured questionnaires to interview farmers and gather relevant information.
• Ensure accurate and complete data collection in accordance with established protocols.
• Utilize GPS devices to map farm boundaries and plot locations.
• Record geographic coordinates and other spatial data accurately.
• Verify and cross-check GPS data for consistency and accuracy.
• Enter collected data into designated databases or data management systems.
• Maintain organized records of all data collected, ensuring confidentiality and data integrity.
• Liaise with farmers, local authorities, and other stakeholders to facilitate data collection activities.
• Provide regular updates and reports on data collection activities to the Field Supervisor.

• Minimum of a High School Certificate, a degree or diploma in Agriculture, Geography, Environmental Science, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent observational skills.
• Proficiency in using GPS devices and basic knowledge of data collection tool.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to travel to different locations and spend extended periods in the field.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to ride a motorcycle with a valid riding license.
