Job DescriptionJOB SUMMARY: The Transport Manager is responsible for planning, directing, managing, coordinating and supervising the programs for acquisition, assignment, utilization, maintenance, repair, replacement and disposal of fleet vehicles.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develops and administers vehicle/equipment asset management processes from procurement to disposition.
  • Supervise drivers, formulate backup rotation mechanism and follow up inspection from time to time.
  • Track fuel dispensation per kilometer.
  • Ensuring the procurement of spare parts.
  • Perform preventive maintenance of company trucks to reduce cost
  • Maximize efficiency and minimize the cost of our tracking operations
  • Formulate vehicle driving routes according to vehicle conditions to ensure vehicle operation and revenue
  • Supervise the efficiency and quality of vehicle maintenance to reduce maintenance cost.
  • Establish a safety inspection mechanism for vehicles, goods and drivers to reduce potential safety hazards.
  • Regularly train drivers, maintenance workers and office personnel.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Preferably Male
  • At least a Bachelor Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain or related field.
  • 2-3 years' work experience in Logistics Management
  • Experience with Trailer Management
