Monitor compensation market trends, analyze salary survey results and recommend overall salary increases, merit, equity and promotion and salary structure movements, if necessary, based on the market activities, inflation or devaluation, assuring internal equity and external competitiveness.
Collaborate in the research, development and administration of assigned compensation programs and monitor the success of these programs.
Conduct and finalize salary market surveys, continually review and adjust survey matches.
Assess changes in salaries or salary grades that deviate from policy or job structure and deliver findings and recommendations to leadership.
Facilitate position evaluation process, in conjunction with Compensation Guide to conduct job evaluations using the job evaluation point factor system HAY methodology and market pricing, coordinate the positions technically within the hierarchy.
Site Super User SSU for Compensation Planning Tool CPT including requirements gathering, user acceptance testing UAT, plan validation, data validation, data mapping exercises, guide self-service MSS training, functional application reviews, calculations, produce, compile reports, and others.
Maintain and handle position description and job evaluation records assigning global job codes to newly created and analyzed positions.
Coordinate point of contact for corporate labor cost calculation.Your Training, Skills & Experience ChecklistFormal Qualification (including Professional Registrations):Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / Finance/ Economics / Mathematics / Statistics/ Human Resources Management.
Professional HR Certification (Not mandatory).Additional KnowledgeApplicable laws and regulations related to compensation, benefits and tax.
Knowledge of external labour markets and / or economics factors.
General Human Resources knowledge.ExperienceMinimum of 6 - 8 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years directly related to total rewards.
Strong preference for background in mining, energy or construction.Problem Solving AbilityWorks in established systems and processes.
Compares data collected from processes with a known model or system.
Imagines how tasks might be completed without direct, physical, and hands-on feedback.
Solves problems where trial & error may not be sufficient; other methods may be required.
