- Develop a robust training needs assessment process and work with BPs to effectively analyze all business L&D requirements in collaboration with line managers (BH, GM, etc.) to achieve business impact.
- Identify relevant solutions to close identified development gaps by planning/organising and executing/facilitating training for each Business/Function. Ensure identified solutions are executed with the right tools and identified methodology to support these needs.
- Lead in preparing required training/development programs to achieve all development/business objectives.
- Work with key stakeholders to develop programs and initiatives that drives critical employee growth and retention.
- Holds shared-accountability with line leaders and HRBPs for bringing Performance management and Talent Process to life.
- Collaborate with the HR BP to manage end-to-end development programs including graduate (e.g. NSPs etc), HIPO, line manager, and leadership development programmes.
- Lead in the development of talent pools, talent assessment tools, assessment centres and support develop medium- long-term recruitment and succession plans
- Review existing talent management frameworks and tools to promote employee development, recognition and retention.
- Lead annual data analysis and report on HIPO status and plans, staff retention, and internal promotions.
- Maintain an efficient electronic learning management systems that promotes learning and growth
- Identify and participate in various career/job fairs and prepare efficient network of talent including various strategies for managing talent in Ghana.
- Collaborate with BPs in the implementation of orientation and onboarding programs of newly recruited staff both internal and external.
- Responsible for employee engagement and wellbeing activities that support a high-performance culture and promotes the 'living' of ECOM's values.
- Lead a small team in the development and implementation of strong communication and feedback channels with all staff using varying channels to build on employee engagement and improve the employee experience.
- At least first degree in Human resources, Social Science or business related
- A professional qualification in L&D/ talent management/coaching/facilitation skills is a plus
- At least 6-8 years' experience in talent management and development
- Experience in working in a matrix organisation
- Experience developing frameworks, systems and/or programmes from scratch
- Experience in conducting training needs assessment and remediation
- Strong interpersonal, networking and negotiation skills in order to influence a significant change in talent management across the Region
- Ability to think strategically, act quickly and motivate people
- Pragmatic, fit for purpose approach
- Microsoft office suite applications (Word, Excel, PPT)
- Tech-Savvy with skills in data management and analysis
- Excellent written, listening and oral communication
- Knowledge of online instructional design and learning management systems/tools will be an added advantage.
- Strategic with strong problem solving skills
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
