Job Vacancy For Research Officer

• To promote the establishment of efficient research systems and processes to support the development of evidence based policies and strategic policy direction for the organization

• Identifies, collates and analyses all research findings and studies on the sector and issues appropriate research reports to ensure that the strategic policy direction of the industry is evidence-based
• Supports and manages staff for research analysis
• Supports the design and implementation of sophisticated research analysis and monitors methodologies and techniques to ensure the quality and adequacy of the sector's information
• Supports the design of strategies for the building of better information gathering, monitoring and analytical frameworks for the industry Supports and coordinates the integration of industry-wide research and statistical information as inputs for the industry policy formulation, performance evaluation, accountability and service delivery
• Facilitates the establishment of industry-wide research and information networks to enhance the Authority's policy processes Supports related departments within the organization with research and information management

• A minimum of 1st, Degree in Economics, Social Science Statistics, Information Management or related discipline from a recognized University or equivalent professional qualification
• Must have completed National Service
