Job Vacancy For Vice Principal

• The Vice Principal shall assist the Principal in the overall administration and management of the college.
• He/She shall act in the adsence of the Principal. He/She shall report directly.

• Hold a minimum of a research masters degree in any relevant field from a recognised institution of higher learning, with appreciable and post-qualification relevant work experience, a research masters degree in education will be an advantage
• Be a Principal Tutor, being a Head of Department/former Head of Department will be an advantage
• Be able to serve a minimum of 1 term of 3 years before he/she attains the compulsory retirement age of 60 years
• Possess a strong research background
• Be familiar with administration and management in higher education in Ghana
• Be familiar with issues concerning teacher education in Ghana
• Possess demonstrable knowledge of academic management in teacher education in Ghana, including conduct of examinations, addressing quality assurance issues, liaising with other colleges as well as working with regulatory bodies and other stakeholders
• Be a team player with the capacity to mobilise relevant resources for teaching, learning, research and community service
• Have good character and high sense of personal integrity
• Possess very good leadership, organisational, inter-personal and communication skills, possess proven capacity to motivate, manage and direct college staff
