- Diagnose and Repair electrical and electronic faults in EVs, including battery systems, motor controllers, charging systems, and onboard electronics.
- Perform Maintenance on high-voltage battery packs, inverters, DC-DC converters, and other EV-specific components.
- Troubleshoot Software & Hardware issues related to EV control systems using diagnostic tools (e.g., OBD-II scanners, manufacturer-specific software).
- Conduct Safety Inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO, IEC, or OEM guidelines).
- Manage Service Operations, including workflow optimization, technician supervision, and quality control.
- Stay Updated on emerging EV technologies, industry trends, and manufacturer service bulletins.
- Train & Mentor junior technicians on EV maintenance best practices and safety protocols.
- Liaise with Customers to explain technical issues, provide service recommendations, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain Documentation of repairs, service logs, and warranty claims.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in automotive electronics, EV maintenance, or power electronics.
- Strong knowledge of high-voltage systems, battery management systems (BMS), and electric drivetrains.
- Proficiency in diagnostic tools (e.g., CAN bus analyzers, multimeters, oscilloscopes).
- Familiarity with EV manufacturers’ systems (Tesla, BYD, Rivian, etc.) is a plus.
- Certifications such as ASE EV Certification, OEM training, or high-voltage safety certification are preferred.
- Problem-solving skills with attention to detail and safety.
- Leadership ability to manage a technical team in a fast-paced environment.
