Job Vacancy For Information Technology (IT) Manager

• Responsible for the effective management, administration and maintenance of the company's IT infrastructure and security systems to support business operations in a timely and professional manner in line with approval policies and IT governance

• Develop for approval IT strategy, architecture and processes to support the business operations of the company and monitor its implementation to ensure compliance
• Develop IT policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), work plan, control systems and other monitoring mechanisms in managing the unit
• Determine the IT needs of the company and impement efficient nd effective computer systems to satisfy the company's information systems requirements
• Conduct studies to be updated on advances in information and communication technology and advise management accordingly in the acquisition of network hardware and software
• Evaluate information technology risks within the company and develop a robust network disaster recovery plan and backup procedures in line with approved governance policies / standards
• Prepare request for proposals (REFs), bid documents, scope of work and other documentation for IT infrastructure projects
• Monitor the performance of the company's IT systems to determine cost and productivity levels and make recommendations to management for improvement in the IT infrastructure
• Prepare for approval the annual operating budget for the IT Unit and implement same to ensure compliance
• Stay abreast with laws, regulations, codes, contemporary advancements in the IT industry to enhance the operations of the unit and support business operations
• Develop comprehensive database to track and monitor IT related activities within the company
• Keep up to date information of the company's products or services
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual performance reports with recommendations to facilitate management decision making

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the IT industry, with 5 years at management level
• Must have a professional certification rom accredited institution in CCNA, Cisco certified network associate, MCITP-Microsoft certified IT professional, HNE, hardware and networking essentials
